Sounkyo
Sounkyo is a unique onsen resort nestled in the heart of the Daisetsu San National Park. The scenery in the area is rugged, spectacular and unlike anywhere else in Hokkaido. The area is renowned for this scenery, hot springs, autumn color viewing, ice climbing, mountaineering and skiing. It is located just 45 minutes drive east of Asahikawa.
