Yosakoi Soran in Pictures

Yosakoi Soran Dance Festival, held in early June every year, is a unique festival. 2012 saw it turning 21 and for some reason I found it more exciting. The reason possibly being I had usually parked up under trees in the park and watch the performances on stage, finding it hard to get a real feel for the performances. This year I found a vantage point at a traffic lights right where the street performances ended. On sunset at the end of the last day, seeing the dance groups on the street shadowed by buildings dancing with full energy just had more appeal to me.
