Teine Highlands

Sapporo Teine is located conveniently close to the heart of Sapporo just 45 minutes drive from downtown. Sapporo Teine is actually two resorts, Teine Highlands and Teine Olympia. Teine Olympia is geared to beginners and Teine Highlands more suited to intermediate to expert skiers and snowboarders. Teine Highlands offers world class backcountry powder skiing with exceptional and challenging terrain just a couple of minutes walk from the top of the lift. There is also excellent tree skiing straight off the lift. Groomed runs are also fantastic with a good mix of pitches including the challenging former Olympic GS course that runs down the centre of the resort. Teine has something for everyone, incredible skiing and riding, breathtaking views of Sapporo and Ishikari Bay and terrain for everyone from the absolute beginner to the seasoned local.
