Tomamu

Nestled just south of central Hokkaido is another excellent ski resort complete with its own twin towers and obligatory bottomless powder.  Tomamu as terrain for all comers and has recently opened up even more off-piste areas. Tomamu also has a reasonable terrain park and maintained halfpipe. The resort isn’t located in a village or town and as such the only accommodation options are in the hotel towers at base. It is possible to stay in Furano or Obihiro and access the resort by car, bus or train from there.

Although you won’t find much in the way of apre-ski entertainment here a unique offering the resort does have is Heli and Cat-skiing, along with the usual Onsens and incredible food, YES!
