Niseko Village (Higashiyama)

Niseko Village formerly known as Higashiyama is a fantastic free riding and skiing mountain. It is smaller and more compact than its neighbours Hirafu and Annupuri but the terrain is fantastic with great tree skiing and a range of beginner to intermediate groomed trails on offer. It has a full range of guest services and at its base is the Hilton Hotel offering high end accommodation, bars and Onsens. The main lift servicing the resort is the Niseko Gondola which accesses most the ski area, be warned this can be a bit of a tit fit if you are a group of snowboarders! Below the resort area you will find the Black Diamond lodge a homely lodging with a cosy bar and restaurant well worth checking out if the Hilton is not your cup tea for an apre ski refreshment.
