Situated just 30kms from the picturesque city of Otaru Kiroro resort is well worth a visit. The terrain here is suited to the intermediate skier or boarder and extensive grooming makes this resort very well geared to families. Of course for the more adventurous there are plenty of tree skiing opportunities too. Another draw card to this resort is its backcountry access.
