Kamui Ski Links

Kamui Ski Links is a little off the beaten track sitting between Sapporo and Asahikawa and has very little surrounding it. Not surprisingly its isolation is part of its beauty and due to its location the powder stays untracked that much longer. Kamui Ski Links is no super resort and has a kind of a country feel to it, it does however have some great terrain to explore and is well worth the trip. The resort is serviced by a gondola and several smaller chairlifts, its has a nice variety of groomed runs and some excellent tree skiing. The base area is small but you can buy the biggest currry you ever ate for under 1000¥. Ticket prices are also very reasonable and there are hourly rates available. Access to the area is via bus or car and it takes approximately 1.5 hours from Sapporo and 30 minutes from Asahikawa.
