Furano

Furano is fast becoming the new Niseko with the secret out on its light, dry and plentiful powder.  Home to world cup ski and snowboard events Furano is a very well set up resort. In the past off-piste skiing was frowned upon here but recently quite literally the gates have opened and boundary policies relaxed opening up some great terrain. Accommodation options are plentiful here and there is something for every taste and budget.

Furano is also a great base to explore other resorts from with day trips possible to Kamui Ski Links, Asahidake, Tomamu and backcountry destination Tokachi Dake.
