Countryside Vegetable Shop

A great thing about traveling arounf Hokkaido is the abundance of roadside vegetable shops. Most are generally not open in winter but have great selections of seasonal produce from asparagus and cherries in spring to mushrooms and nuts in autumn with everything in between straight from the local gardens. Most shops also have other stuff such as sukimono [japanese pickled vegetable] , juice, honey and anything else that can be gathered in grown in the wild or garden.
Some places also have restaurants or small food stalls where you can grab a snap if you're hungry from ice cream to fried foods and noddles. Idatakimasu [I thankfully receive - said before eating]
