Benkei Misaki

6 Jun, 2019

Within a short walk of the road side park lot is Bankei Misaki , a cape (misaki) named after a Samurai. There is a statue of Bankei and a light house with great panoramic views of the Japan Sea and mountain to the north, east, and south.
For those a litle more adventurous there is a path down to a rock ledge which has great rock pools and a great spot for fishing for Hirame, Buri, and a number of other fish depending on the season. Always recreational fisherman out no matter what the weather.
